Ulefone Armor 30 Pro survives power tools and cars in nightmare durability tests (2025)

The Armor 30 Pro is the most recent Nubia Z20throwback on the market - and also the strangest, as it is rated to offset the potential weak point of having "true dual displays" (one of which is now touted as the industry's "largest" at 3.6 inches in diagonal length) with a rugged build.

Both of the 30 Pro's screens are reinforced with Gorilla Glass 5, which helps the device survive being attacked with an electric drill in addition to being used as a nutcracker and a hammer in a new video.

The new Armor-series smartphone also overcame being frozen at -30°C, then being smashed out of the resulting block of ice. It also passed the apparently increasingly popular YouTube test of being run over by a car: a 2,290kg Toyota Alphard in this case.

It should be noted that these new extreme durability tests were carried out by Ulefone "professionals" and posted online by the company.

The Armor 30 Pro is currently priced at $499.99 via channels such as Amazon, but is slated to go on sale from $379.99 between April 14 and 20, 2025.
